14th Annual Powell Back to School Bash

Special chance to connect with Powell, Dublin, Lewis Center area families before the start of school. Helps families find area school options, resources for their family, connect with local area businesses, find educational resources, classes, health, services that help inner city families, activities, childcare, afterschool help, programs for adults/kids, items for their home, shopping or simply connecting with parents / guardians.


  • When: August 9th 2025 (Saturday, 9AM - Noon)
  • Where: 284 S Liberty St, Powell, OH 43065 (Guardian Academy – Near Downtown Powell)
  • Who Attends: Families from Powell, Dublin, Lewis Center, and surrounding area
  • How it works: Outdoor event! Families pre-register to attend the event and it's various fun activities. Admission is free.
  • Expected Attendance: 2,000-2500

  • Why families attend the event: This family event connects parents with schools, resources to help families, local community resources, classes (kids or adults), after school programs, education, childcare, health & wellness, items for their house, shopping, or simply things that you need when you are an adult (insurance, buying a home, or just other adult stuff).

What to do at the event:
  • Fun items: This fun-filled summer festival features free back-to-school supplies, visits with Minions, a bounce park, the brand-new Tunnel Fort Zone, a mini golf course, a huge carnival game area, the Pickerington Bubble Run, a petting zoo, pony rides, a special princess visit, a magician performance, live music, a new splash pad, a water tag game, balloon artist, hula hoop & limbo contest, face painting, the Bubble Zone, free cotton candy, cookies, popcorn, a church garage sale, treat trucks, and so much more!
  • Back to School: 200 Free Back to School Supplies for the 1st 200 kids (limit 2 per family). Plus, find classes/care/programs/resources for back to school, items for your kids
  • : Run though a foam cannon, bubble machines and foam & slide! Pick .25-, .5-, 1- or 2-mile options for this super fun run!
  • What to do at the event: Find local resources, classes, shopping products, kids items. plus discover and shop for neat things for your home.
