A safe space for survivors of sexual violence to experience the healing benefits of Yoga. Led by Dana Perry Kirchoff, E-RYT. Hosted by CRCC.

About this Event

Cleveland Rape Crisis Center invites survivors of rape and sexual abuse to a free community yoga class. This class is designed to be a safe space for survivors to experience the healing benefits of Yoga. This practice will allow students an opportunity to increase body awareness in support of greater physical, emotional and mental well being.

We will explore breathing practices and therapeutic movement to help survivors in connecting mindfully to the moment. We will learn ways to listen to our bodies and breath so we can honor our own unique experience and needs.

Who can attend?

  • Survivors of sexual violence/sexual trauma.
  • All yoga experience levels welcome.
  • All genders welcome.
  • Survivors ages 13-17 may attend if accompanied by a parent/guardian. Please register the adult and child separately.
