Akanni is an a Cleveland Ohio native, African American entrepreneur. She is a community builder who answered the call to reconnect with her ancestral roots by marrying a Ghanaian man and relocating to Ghana.

She is the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of Pride of Ghana Travel and Tours, a premier destination management company that specializes in cultural exchange, immersive tours, and repatriation support.

With years of experience guiding individuals, families, and groups through every step of visiting, investing, and transitioning to life in Ghana, Akanni brings honest insight, relatable stories, and a passion for bridging communities on both sides of the Atlantic.
