It is fairly easy to succeed and persevere when times are good, business is booming, and all your investments are increasing.

However market cycles don't go up forever, and how you react when things don't go your way will likely determine your ability to pass down generational wealth more than what you do during the good times.

Generational Wealth 2025 is for those who want to learn from those who have been through the highs and lows, and through it all have produced lasting companies, strong families, and an inheritance for their children's children!

Timeless Principles

As my friend Kyle Wilson says, "Tactics change, but principles are timeless."​

Some people run from one new thing to the next, always trying to find what "works".

I wouldn't say there is anything necessarily wrong with this, but it doesn't attract me.

What attracts me is getting around those who's lives are solid, whose way of thinking is in decades, not in days.

Are there new tactics for our generation of business owners compared to 50 years ago?

Things like email, digital marketing, and cell phones?

Of course.

But are there new PRINCIPLES??

I think not.

I want to learn the PRINCIPLES that work in EVERY generation!

For example, Norris Boyd from Boyd Wilson will be sharing at this event. His family started in business in the 1960's, and the same principles they used then are still being used today!!

Family ... the Often Missing Link

I am surprised by how many business owners and "success"-oriented people fail to mention their family.

There are several reasons for this, but one that I want to highlight here has to do with AUTHENTICITY.

Authenticity is the willingness for people to show their true colors, without trying to appear to others differently than they actually are. It is one of my most favorite traits in my friends and family.

What does this have to do with Generational Wealth and how some people don't seem to include their family in their picture of success?

Because you can't fool your family.

Social media and fancy marketing have helped create a world where people can APPEAR to be successful, happy, wealthy, etc, but actually not be any of those things in real life.

Are you seeing why some people wouldn't want to include their family in their business life?

Family has a way of being like the child in the story "The Emperor Has No Clothes".

However, when you have the SUBSTANCE and the AUTHENTICITY of real success, including family becomes a beautiful picture of TRUE WEALTH.

I am so proud to be friends with our speakers, who not only have built massive wealth, but who also have built strong and loving families who are very much a part of their business lives.

Longevity

Usually when I use the word "longevity", I'm talking about physical health and the practice of living healthier, longer. One of my passions.

However in this context, longevity refers to how long someone has been able to sustain something.

For example, Jerry & Sue Horst have been in the same business for over 40 years. Longevity!

Rabbi Daniel Lapin's family has had a rabbi in every generation for over 100 years. Longevity!

Dana Samuelson began in the precious metals industry in 1980. Longevity!

When someone is able to show character and longevity for many years, it adds WEIGHT to what they have to say.
