Join us for a hands-on workshop into one of the coolest coffee brewing techniques around: the classic pourover.

About this Event

This is a class for beginners to experts! Join us for a hands-on workshop into one of the coolest coffee brewing techniques around: the pourover.

We'll start with the classic V60 brewer and brew up a few different coffees. We'll work with a few variables like grind size and water temperature to see how they bring out different flavors. And then we'll move on to more complex brewers and let you play around with an assortment of coffees, from your classic dark roast to cutting-edge experimental coffees.

Who are we and why should you trust us to teach this class?

Bradley is a researcher at Northwestern University and he's studied the coffee industry (which he's writing a book about). He also founded and runs Experimental Coffee ( https://experimental.coffee/) alongside Sip Society ( https://sipsociety.eventbrite.com/) as coffee companies focused on cutting-edge coffees and the education required to enjoy them. Matthew is a coffee professional with almost two decades of experience. As the co-founder of Sip Society, he brings passion, experience, and serious teaching prowess to the workshop. Join us!
