This session of ugly art club consists of a group project without the pressure to make it look 'good' as a clear cohesive image. We will be practicing community building, creative experimentation.
All Ugly Art Club sessions are treated as an unstructured, no-pressure space focused on self expression, mental health and community connection through art. There are no rules or expectations, come in with an idea or use our prompts to come up with your art piece. We're not about 'good' art, we want honest art. As a non-profit, all funds go directly into running workshops, providing materials or supporting collaborators. We're here to support emotional wellbeing, celebrate imperfection and help people feel seen, one messy canvas at a time.
