About the Event

This event is hosted by the Sleep Health Clinical Academic Group (CAG) and is designed to introduce advanced trainees, post-RACP scientists (sleep), and allied health professionals to the field of sleep medicine research. Our specialised presenters will highlight the following in their specific areas:

• Recent and important areas of clinical research (important papers/concepts),
• Important clinical studies and concepts in sleep medicine,
• Areas where more research is needed and where early-career researchers might contribute, and
• Looking at research gaps and potential opportunities for young researchers

After the speaker presentations, we will run a panel discussion on:

• Getting started in research
• The value of clinical research
• Research career pathways

From there we have some networking time where you can approach any of the speakers with your individual questions and enjoy some lunch.
