Join Esprit Wellness Foundation on Saturday, August 2, 2025, for a meaningful day of movement, connection, and community impact. In partnership with Urban Kayaks, this exclusive two-hour group paddle offers a beginner-friendly tour along the Chicago River, blending wellness, Chicago history, and our mission to support veterans, dependents, and civic engagement.
Whether you’re new to kayaking or experienced, this event is designed for all comfort levels. Enjoy guided storytelling, scenic views, and a chance to connect with like-minded individuals committed to purpose-driven community building.
EVENT DETAILS:
- Date: Saturday, August 2, 2025
- Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Location: Urban Kayaks, Chicago Riverwalk – 435 E. Chicago Riverwalk, Chicago, IL 60601
- Duration: Approximately 1.5 to 2 hours on the water
- Ages: Participants must be 18+ (or 16+ if accompanied by a parent/guardian)
- Cost: $31.37 per person — a major discount from the standard $78.49 rate, made possible through our special partnership with Urban Kayaks.

WHAT TO BRING:

- Closest garages: Millennium Park Garage, 60 E. Randolph St or Lakeside Garage, 400 E. South Water St
- Street parking is limited — ride-sharing or public transit is highly encouraged
- CTA Access: Short walk from State/Lake (Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple) or Clark/Lake (Blue Line)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All participants must sign a liability waiver upon check-in if not signed prior to the launch time
- Arrive 15–20 minutes early for orientation and gear setup
- Event is weather-dependent. In case of cancellation, you will be notified and rescheduled or refunded
