Summer Art & Music Camp 2025

Join us for our Summer Camp for a fun and creative art and music classes, where you can unleash your inner artist and musician!

About this Event

Art Class: Learn about and be inspired by the famous artists we’ll meet along the way, as we travel back in time. Using watercolor, oil pastels, chalk pastels, collage and mixed media, students will explore landscapes, still life, portraits, abstract art and architecture. (10 am - 12 pm)

Music Class: Campers will learn a brief history of different periods in music from Baroque to Rock and Roll, through works of composers. We will learn about what makes each style unique through hands-on musical games and rhythmic activities, including an assortmant of instruments. No prior musical experience neccesary. (12:30 pm - 2pm)

July 8 - August 7

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

10 am - 2 pm (30-minute break between classes) | Age 7 -12 | Cost $100

* Please note that each child should bring their own snacks, lunch, and water *

* Payment must be made in person by cash (exact change) or check (made out to the City of Los Angeles) on one of the following dates to secure your spot:

Please note:

* Please register for one music class and one art class per child

* Please register using the name of the student, not the parent.

We may not be able to offer a refund if you drop out of a class.
