Description:
The Fresno State Art and Transportation Summer Academy is a five-day camp introducing FUSD elementary students to public art, design, and community engagement through creative exploration. Hosted at Fresno State by the Fresno State Transportation Institute, students will use art as a tool to address real-world transportation and safety themes.

Key Activities:

• Design a street mural or safe intersection model
• Participate in clay sculpture and tie-dye workshops
• Create street art posters and digital designs
• Explore 2D and 3D art forms
• Build with candy and LEGOs
• Engage in team projects, presentations, and fun off-site field trips
• Enjoy activities like bowling, awards, and more
