Embrace a slow and mindful pace to practice following your breath and being present in your body .

About this Event

This month's walk will be co-led by Pasadena Humane's Director of Wildlife Education and Services, Lauren Hamlett, and Chief Veterinarian, Dr. Maria Pyrdek. They will focus on their work in local wildlife rehabilitation, what to do if you find distressed wildlife, and how wildlife rehabilitation contributes positively to the overall health of our local ecosystems.

Attendees will observe and engage with native plants, practice some basic bird identification, and discuss how the things we see on the walk connect to wildlife health. No equipment is required, but we recommend bringing handheld lenses (or loupes), binoculars, and/or cameras. We will have limited binoculars and loupes available to borrow.
