Bringing Community together with games, food, vibes & resources that support Black mental wellness.

About this Event

Community Link Up is an annual gathering hosted by Breanna Chanelle Therapeutic Services (BCTS) that brings community together to celebrate healing, joy, and connection. Rooted in Afro-Caribbean and Black cultural traditions, this event intentionally centers collective healing practices that have sustained our people for generations; laughter, storytelling, music, play, and community care.

This isn’t just a day of fun (though there’s plenty of that!); it’s a space that honours the deep wisdom within our communities. From nostalgic circle games and kite flying competitions to dominoes and community conversations, the Link Up taps into the healing power of intergenerational play and togetherness. Elders, youth, and everyone in between are invited to reconnect with parts of themselves and each other that everyday life too often asks us to ignore.

The event also offers a chance to engage with Black-serving organizations providing vital mental health and wellness resources. It’s where joy meets access, where fun becomes freedom, and where healing happens in community, not in isolation.

Community Link Up is a reminder that our healing isn’t a solo act, it’s a collective rhythm. And when we gather, we grow.
