Learning Summary: Is a big vocabulary vital for our children? Teachers frequently encounter this essential question, and with a loud YES as an answer, they are continuously preparing how to create situations that promote vocabulary acquisition. We will discuss the WHAT, WHY, and HOW of vocabulary.

Learning Outcomes:

1.Learners will define vocabulary and articulate its relationship to language and literacy.

1. Learners will describe the language milestones of children ages 0-5 years old.
2. Learners will demonstrate how to incorporate vocabulary into othe learning domains

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three-question quiz or test at the end of each training.
