Course Description
The Nursing Symposium will serve as a major educational and networking event for neuroscience nurses and those who care for neuroscience patients. This will provide opportunities to learn about the latest advancements in neuroscience. Speakers will consist of multidisciplinary providers: neurosurgeons, neurologist, endocrinologist, spine surgeon, psychologist, ENT, and therapist involved with brain health. Experts will present topics ranging from neuroanatomy, autoimmune disease, stroke, transsphenoidal sinus surgery, migraine headaches, and brain health, to the latest methods in psychedelic therapy.
Course Emphasis
The course will focus on the management of neuroscience patients, including how to manage lifelong evolving symptoms of autoimmune disease. We will explore strategies to help patients maintain an appropriate frame of mind and stay in a “healthy brain zone”. Participants will engage in a multidisciplinary review of neuroscience topics aimed at providing excellent outcomes-driven approaches with close physician collaboration.
