Pride Month Film Screening: But I'm a Cheerleader (1999)
About this Event
Bad Gal Film Club are proud to present a special Pride Month screening of But I’m a Cheerleader, a hilarious ‘90s cult classic about sexuality, gender roles and social conformity, starring Natasha Lyonne and RuPaul.
Come and celebrate an independent film, screened by a women-led film community (@badgalfilmclub) in Manchester this Pride Month! 🍿
About the film
Megan (Lyonne) is an all-American girl and high school cheerleader. She has a boyfriend, although she doesn’t like kissing him very much. Her conservative parents worry that she must be a lesbian, and send her off to a “sexual redirection” school, where she must - with other lesbians and gays - learn how to be straight.
Notes about this screening
Open to all (18+).
