Water, Wildlife and Connectivity Guided Hike at Spreckels Hill!
About this Event
Have you heard? The wonders of water and wildlife aren’t far away… in fact, they’re not far at all! Join the Open Space Authority for an engaging evening hike to explore a Coyote Valley property not yet open to the public!
Yup, you heard it here first - we invite you to this cherished space to witness, first-hand, our shared values of watershed protection, wildlife habitat, working lands and connecting people to nature!
Although we manage this space and keep it protected, we also understand that our community members need access to understand how truly special and crucial our open spaces are – so you’re cordially invited!
It will be a lovely evening hike to end the week and jump start your weekend feeling empowered, curious, and inspired. The hike is a gentle 0.5-mile climb up a lovely spiral trail, with a new view at each turn, ending in a beautiful 360 view of Coyote Valley.
What to bring:
- Good walking shoes - some of the trail is a bit rocky, so be prepared for that terrain
- Appropriate clothing
- Water
- A camera to capture what your memories won’t forget
Heavy rain will cancel this walk. If you sign up, but are no longer able to go, please kindly cancel your ticket so that someone else is able to attend.
We hope you’ll join us on this special experience.
