Join us for a day of hands-on learning and networking on July 22nd at Nebraska Methodist College! Our event will cover the latest updates and best practices in school nursing to help you prepare for the upcoming school year.
Learn how to:
- Make a splint with Sports Medicine
- Apply a tourniquet with Stop the Bleed
- Respond to emergencies (cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, asthma attack, seizures)
- Conduct annual hearing and vision screenings per state requirements
- Manage your students' chronic conditions (asthma, food allergies, diabetes, seizure disorders)

Info: Introductions and Announcements, then participants will be divided into 3 groups to rotate between stations. NOTE: Zoom participants will have a different order of speakers.

Rotations - Set A
Info: Hearing Screening (Children's Audiology), Seizures (Children's Neurology), and Asthma (Children's Pulmonology). Each station will be 25 minutes long with 5 minutes to rotate between rooms.

Info: Splinting (Children's Sports Medicine), Anaphylaxis (Children's Allergy), and Stop the Bleed (Children's Injury Prevention)
