Join us in planting 7000 trees in 2025 to create a lasting woodland for the native flora and fauna on the Peninsula!

About this Event

🌳 What's going on: We're planting 7000 native trees and shrubs to create a thriving indigenous Woodland of 30 acres (!!!) for native fauna and flora on the Mornington Peninsula. And we can't do it alone!

🕘 When should I arrive? We will begin the demo at 9am sharp, however please allow 10–15 minutes minutes for the walk from the carpark to the planting site (~600m).

🚗 Getting there: At the sign for Saltbush, follow the long driveway until you reach the carpark. From there, there is an 600m walk (or MCC Landcare buggy ride :) to the planting site.

🧤 What to bring: Please BYO gloves, sturdy footwear, long pants, and a long-sleeved (sun-smart) shirt. Also, bring friends and drinking water!

🥾 Tree planting involves digging, bending and walking on uneven ground so you will need good physical fitness and mobility.
