Make A Ring!

Students will learn introductory smithing skills, silver craft & materials and will leave with a stunning silver ring to adorn the hand.

About this Event

In this workshop you will create a Sterling Silver ring utilizing the ancient techniques of casting with cuttlefish! Each student will be provided with on cuttlefish bone, and the amount of silver used in the final ring product. Students will carve designs into the bone and fill those designs with molten Sterling Silver casting grain with a torch. After this process students will finish the ring with a high polish in our tumbler and walk out wearing their creation.

Participation Requirement: All students must were comfortable closed-toed shoes, hair ties for long hair, and clothing they don't mind getting messy.
