Hi tea lovers!Join us for a fascinating class all about Wuyi Rock Tea (Yancha) — one of the most iconic and complex oolong teas from China!
In this session, we’ll uncover the ancient traditions behind Yancha, learn about its unique “rock rhyme” (yan yun), and discover how Wuyi’s dramatic cliffs and mineral-rich soil give this tea its bold character and layered aroma.
We’ll also introduce two of the most famous Yancha varieties — Rou Gui and Shui Xian — and guide you through a professional tasting experience that brings out their signature flavors: toasty, floral, spicy, and richly mineral.
This is a perfect class for tea drinkers looking to deepen their understanding of Chinese oolongs and explore one of the world’s most distinctive tea styles.
