Community Organizing Teach-In

Tired of feeling powerless in a broken system? You’re not alone — and you’re not without options.

Join us on Saturday, June 28th for an eye-opening, interactive community organizing teach-in led by educator and organizer Arthur Dennis. Through a powerful group exercise called “The Chair,” we’ll explore how political systems often divide working-class people, neglect our basic needs — like healthcare — and protect the interests of billionaires and corrupt leaders. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Together, we’ll role-play, ask big questions, share laughs, and uncover how ordinary people (just like you!) can build real power through collective action. This isn’t a lecture — it’s a conversation. And it’s designed to energize, inspire, and show you what’s possible when communities come together.

By the end, you’ll not only better understand the forces working against us — you’ll leave with concrete ideas for how to fight back, especially when it comes to healthcare justice, from the federal level to right here in our own neighborhoods.

Come curious. Leave empowered.
