Days of Glory: 70s/80s/Early 90s House + Disco Party

The fifth edition of 'Days of Glory' takes place on Saturday the 9th of August in The Rumsey Wells basement bar in Norwich, Norfolk, UK.

Join us as we explore the origins of house music, from its roots in 70s disco to its explosion during the 'Second Summer of Love' and the early 90s Rave scene, celebrating those glory days on the dance floor.

This is NOT just another 'classics' night. Expect underground anthems, rare grooves, fresh edits and banging mash ups to take control of your mind, body and soul

First up, we’re buzzing to welcome back Amz AltaEgo to the booth. Known for her fierce selection of acid house and techno, Amz has been spinning since the early '90s - with sets at Offyerface, Planet Yes, Mr Pitts, and pirate radio stations Breakpirates and Battle Station Radio.

A lifelong vinyl purist, she brings old-school rave energy and turntable wizardry every time.

- JuJu MuzikMaking his Days of Glory debut, it’s the legendary JuJu Muzik. From blagging his way into acid house clubs as a schoolboy, to playing Café Del Mar, launching his own label, and hosting shows on Point Blank DAB, JuJu’s done it all.

He’ll be digging deep into his vinyl collection for rare grooves and long-lost house classics to take you right back to the roots.

And of course, your host KES will be bringing the party vibes, playing anything from ‘70s disco to early ‘90s breakbeat and everything in between.
