Come join us for a sweet picnic at the Jeffrey Open Space Trail!

• Come share your best cake and enjoy great company.
• Everyone must bring a full cake; other sweet treats are not recomended.
• All ingredients must be Halal-friendly. That means no alcohol, no pork.
• Don't forget to bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair.

Participation Agreement

Info: 1. Event Details

The Participant understands that A Pretty Sweet Picnic is a collaborative event, voluntarily attended and participated in by all individuals. The event is designed for social and recreational purposes, and participation is at the sole discretion of the Participant.

2. No Mental or Financial Compensation

The Participant acknowledges that participation in A Pretty Sweet Picnic is entirely voluntary and is not subject to any form of financial or mental compensation. The Hosts are not responsible for any expectations of reward, payment, or emotional restitution arising from participation in the event.

3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

The Participant understands that participation in the event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances. 4. We have the right to refuse entrance and participation to anyone who doesn't not comply with the rules of the agreement.

A Pretty Sweet Picnic - Cake Rules

Info: 1. Each guest must bring a cake.

This is a cake picnic—your sweet (or savory!) contribution plus ticket is your entry.

2. Cakes must be no smaller than 6 inches.

3. All ingredients must be halal.

This means absolutely no alcohol, pork, or any of their byproducts.

4. All cakes must be labeled with allergens.

Clearly indicate if your cake contains gluten, nuts, dairy, eggs, or other common allergens.

5. Label requirements:

Use a label no larger than 2.5" x 3" that includes:

Cake name and any details you’d like to share (e.g., flavor, story, origin, fun facts)

6. Sweet or savory, all cakes are welcome.

Get creative—both dessert and savory cakes are embraced and encouraged!

7. All guests must have a valid ticket.

No exceptions.

8. All tickets must be purchased by June 20th, 2025.

9. No tickets will be sold on-site.

10. Guests must be 13 years of age or older.

This is a teen-and-up event.
