An evening of stories from the island of Kauaʻi.

About this Event

This storytelling event will showcase a diverse group of individuals sharing personal memories and life lessons from their experiences living on Kauaʻi. The event will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Kauaʻi Performing Arts Center in Līhuʻe.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 5:45 p.m. The program will begin promptly at 6 p.m.

In-person tickets include a small bento, and access to the show. If you are unable to attend in-person, a free recording will be sent to everyone who registers.

Featured Storytellers:

Kalani Vierra - chief lifeguard for the Ocean Safety Bureau of the Kaua’i Fire Department, co-founder of the Kauaʻi Lifeguard Association, & former multi-world champion in tandem surfing.

Lyndsey Haraguchi-Nakayama - a 6th generation taro farmer in Hanalei for her familyʻs farm, Hanalei Taro.

Darryl Kaneshiro - west side farmer, rancher, & former councilmember for the Kauaʻi County Council

Coppin Colburn - producer of Ahi Lele Fire Show at Anaina Hou & former hotelier.

Linda Paik Moriarty - author of Lei Niʻihau and other books
