DeKalb County's Ranger Jonah is visiting W.D. Thomson Park for a special nature walk all about trees. Learn techniques for identifying trees by their bark, leaves, flowers, and fruit. From the common water oak to the city champion basswood, come fall in love with trees at W.D. Thomson Park!
We will walk 2 hours for a total of 2 miles on dirt trails. Wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring a refillable water bottle and hiking sticks if you need them. Meet at the lower parking lot near the pavilion at playground at W.D. Thomson Park on Mason Woods Drive, just off Mason Mill Road.
All ages are welcome.
