Join crisis and grief specialist Maria Trozzi to learn words, strategies, and wisdom to meet moments of acute loss with faith and comfort.

About this Event

“What can I possibly do or say in this raw moment of grief that comforts?” were the pastor’s thoughts as she drove to the local hospital ER knowing parents had learned their 14-year-old son had died in a car accident that afternoon.

“What God would allow a 17-year-old high school senior to face life as an orphan following the traumatic death of her entire family in a plane crash?”
These were the words from congregants in the immediate aftermath of this tragic loss.

Navigating ministry in a complex world

Join Maria Trozzi and other local clergy to explore the psychosocial issues and life events that challenge children and families today. Registration is required for this event. Cost is $25, which includes a copy of Maria’s book, Talking with Children About Loss.
