Blockprinting Workshop with Diana Eicher
About this Event
Join Lakewood artist in residence Diana Eicher for a unique, hands-on printmaking workshop that blends sustainability, remembrance, and creativity. During this event, you'll learn the art of blockprinting using handmade paper crafted from repurposed funeral flowers donated by Lakewood Cemetery.
As part of an ongoing residency project, these workshops offer a meaningful way to connect with nature, memory, and art. Participants will create their own floral-inspired prints on this one-of-a-kind paper and gain insight into both the papermaking process and relief printing techniques.
Workshops will take place at the Lakewood Welcome Center and are open to all skill levels. Materials will be provided, and each participant will leave with their own piece of original artwork.
