Explore Your Parks: Birding
About this Event
Friends of Grand Rapids Parks is partnering with the Grand Rapids Audubon Club to provide guided bird walks for all ages, abilities, and skill levels. Join us for a fun, educational morning at Huff Park. Meet birders of all skill levels, learn more about equipment for viewing and identifying birds, and see how many different bird species you can find!
Guided bird walk times:
8:15-9:00 am
9:15-10:00 am
What to expect:
π¦ββ¬ There will be a limited supply of binoculars for folks to share, but we recommend bringing your own if you have them!
π¦ββ¬In addition to guided bird walks, there will be snacks, games, and activities for all to enjoy.
π¦ββ¬We will assemble near the entrance to the boardwalk
Know before you go:
π Participants are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes early, giving time to sign in and hear workshop instructions.
π Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes.
β Pre-registration is not required, but is greatly appreciated!
π Parking is available on Aberdeen in the parking lot or along the street. Overflow parking is available off of Ball street.
