Motown Downtown: a Night of Music, Dancing, and Community Support
Bath, ME – August 31, 2025 – Main Street Bath is proud to present Motown Downtown, the non profit's premier annual fundraiser, taking place at the Linwood E. Temple Waterfront Park. This vibrant evening under the stars will feature a live concert by Decades by DeZyne, a high-energy show band known throughout New England for their dynamic performances, powerful vocals, and legendary dance moves.
Gates open at 5:00 PM, with the concert beginning at 7:00 PM. Attendees can enjoy a festive atmosphere with food trucks, a beer garden, and plenty of room to dance. Tickets are $35 per person; children 12 and under are free. This is a rain or shine event and tickets are non-refundable, as all proceeds support the nonprofit work of Main Street Bath, whose mission is “Partnering to Promote & Preserve Historic Downtown Bath, Maine.”
“Motown Downtown is more than just a concert,” says the Main Street Bath team. “It’s a chance for the community to come together and support the continued vitality of our historic downtown.”
As most other Main Street Bath events are free to the public, this single ticketed event plays a vital role in supporting the organization’s year-round programming.
