About this Event

As part of MidCoast Productions’ Shakespeare’s Time-Warp Extravaganza, Shakespearience! invites performers on a thrilling journey through time to explore the wit, wonder, and drama of the Bard’s greatest works.

From enchanted forests and royal courts to witches’ prophecies and star-crossed love, students will dive headfirst into Shakespeare’s world—learning to speak the verse, embody iconic characters, and bring centuries-old stories to life with energy and heart.

This dynamic workshop is designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and demystify Shakespeare’s language through games, scene work, movement, and plenty of laughs. Whether you're a seasoned actor or brand new to the stage, Shakespearience! is your passport to a timeless theatrical adventure.

Open to participants aged 13 to 99, this is an inclusive and energetic workshop for anyone with a love of drama, language, or laughter. Please wear comfy clothes you can move in, bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, and don’t forget to pack your own lunch for the day.
