WEEKLY ON MONDAYS - June 2 through August 25 - 6:30 p.m.
Volkening Lake features a 3/4 mile walking path around the lake and a pavilion with tables open to the public. We will start off with one lap and work our way up over the course of the summer. Strollers are welcome. All encouraged to come, enjoy the outdoors, spend time with friends while encouraging healthy habits. Hopefully, our final meeting on August 25 will be our customary end of summer BBQ!
Wear an UPS for DownS shirt if you have one. Water and healthy post walk snack will be provided. Bring a friend! This is an all ages and all fitness level activity.
For those interested, we will be participating in the D54 Education Foundation's Run to Read on Sunday, September 28. This event includes a 1 mile, a 5K and 100 or 400 meter dashes - for all ages. Watch for details.
