About this Event

Nashville PBS warmly invites you to an evening screening of selected clips from the distinguished documentary CAREGIVING on June 11th at 6:00 PM during the statewide TN CARES Conference on Aging. This free conference is a wonderful opportunity for law enforcement officers, district attorneys, service providers, healthcare professionals, veterans, and community members dedicated to supporting aging and vulnerable adults.

This compelling film, executive produced by Bradley Cooper and narrated by Uzo Aduba, explores the multifaceted challenges and triumphs of caregiving in America. It weaves together intimate personal narratives with the untold history of caregiving, offering a profound examination of the current state and significance of care in the United States.

Following the screening, attendees are invited to participate in a hybrid panel discussion. The panel will feature a virtual welcome from filmmaker Barak Goodman (Caregiving), along with esteemed in-person experts such as Vicki Harris (Community ConneXor) and Suzy Hence (Nashville PBS). Panelists will provide valuable insights and foster a meaningful dialogue on caregiving for aging veterans
