About this Event

Do you know what to do before & after your child or loved one with a disability graduates to avoid being in a catch-22? Every Step of the Way Resource Center is hosting the 1st Annual Catch-22 Resource. Join ESW for the 1ST public resource fair only for individuals with disabilities ages 18 & up. The purpose of this resource fair is to provide various essential community resources specific to adults with disabilities in one setting, since many resources become minimal starting at age 18 & when special education entitlements end at age 22. Adults with disabilities, parents, guardians, caregivers, family, & friends of adults with disabilities, & professionals who serve adults with disabilities are highly encouraged to attend. Parents & guardians of individuals with disabilities who are middle & high school age are encouraged to attend to prepare for transitioning & aging out of the special education system. This event will be held at the Brighton Park Community Campus (Park 596) located at 4830 S. Western Avenue, Chicago, IL. 60609 from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
