With its unspoiled natural beauty and relaxed island charm, Catalina is truly a Pacific paradise. Travel by motor coach to Dana Point and board a 90-minute cruise to the island on a 149-passenger ocean vessel. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to purchase optional activities, such as a scenic tour of Avalon, a botanical garden tour, an inland tour where you could see roaming wild American buffalo, and other exciting experiences. You'll have five hours on the island to enjoy lunch on your own and explore a variety of what Catalina has to offer, all within walking distance of the dock. Visit quaint boutiques, savor a famous bison burger on the pier, take a walking tour of the 1929 art deco casino, or simply relax with a refreshing Mai Tai and a good book amid the scenery.

Activity Level: High
Considerable walking and/or numerous steps involved, possibly on uneven surfaces, although all walking is self-paced. It is approximately three blocks to walk into Avalon after disembarking the ferry boat, and steps are required getting on and off the boat. This tour may be challenging for persons with mobility limitations.
