WOMEN'S STORYTELLING NIGHT • Open Mic for Women aged 40+

One mic. Ten women. One unforgettable evening of truth & transformation.

About this Event

Gather with us under soft lights and soul truth.

The Weavers Project is a monthly storytelling night for women 40+, where real-life transformation tales take the stage. Ten women. Five minutes each. Stories woven around a shared theme and a shared truth: we become through what we live.

Add in warm kava, blossoming tea, connection, and a soft closing ritual—and you’ve got a sacred space for witnessing, laughter, tears, and transformation. Come to listen. Come to speak. Come to remember you’re not alone.

Bring a friend—or five. These nights are medicine.

Hosted by Paige Trinnamen & Brooke Lark

About the Event:

You’ve lived through some things.

You’ve risen from the ashes.

You’ve rewritten your life.

Now imagine a room full of other women who’ve done the same—gathered not to compete, but to connect, not to perform, but to tell the truth.

Each Weavers night is centered around one monthly theme, and follows a simple but powerful rhythm:

• Women drop their names into a storytelling bowl at the door.

• Five names are pulled. Each woman shares a 5-minute story of personal transformation using the structure:

“I used to be this… and now I am this.”

• We break for conversation, connection, and ceremonial tea.

• Then we do it again—with five more stories.

By the end of the night, the room is woven tighter. Hearts fuller. Eyes shining. You leave changed.

About Panacea:

The Weavers Project is part of Panacea, a growing community of 40+ women committed to play, reinvention, healing, and ceremony.

We believe in gathering face-to-face, in reclaiming joy, and in creating spaces that honor the full spectrum of womanhood—grief and grit, magic and motherhood, rage and softness. Whether it’s dance, storytelling, ritual, or friendship—we’re here to light each other up.

Panacea events are woven with care and powered by purpose. This is connection you can feel in your bones.

Who’s Invited:

This gathering is for women aged 40 and wiser.

All identities, life paths, and storytelling styles are welcome.

You don’t need to be a “speaker”—you just need to be real.

Bring a friend (or five). These nights are better shared.
