The son of a blues-record-collecting father and a gospel-singing mother, Rusty Wright was born into rhythm and raised in raw talent. A Flint, Michigan native with a sound that fuses Texas-style blues, Southern rock, and Detroit soul, Rusty has carved out a place as one of the most dynamic blues-rock artists of his generation.
A Billboard Top 5 charting artist, Rusty is a masterful guitarist, vocalist, and producer whose improvisation-heavy performances are backed by powerhouse wife Laurie LaCross-Wright (guitar/vocals), Billy Agner (bass), and Vail Hayes (drums). The band’s signature blend draws comparisons to Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Allman Brothers, and Freddie King, while maintaining a voice—and groove—all their own.
