Make a Fiber Wall Hanging Rainbow

Grab a friend and come make rainbows with maker Vanessa from A Branch & Cord. In this beginner workshop, explore color, play with fiber, and create your very own unique rainbow wall hanging, all while having a ton of fun! You will be introduced to a fun hand-wrapping and shaping rainbow workshop where you can create your own rainbow wrapped in macrame cord.

Working with cotton rope, a variety of colors, and a few additional tools and supplies, you’ll have everything to make a 7x7" macrame rainbow to hang on your wall to brighten any space. Learn the insider tips and tricks for a neat and secure wrap and finished assembly.

Once you master wrapping, the sky’s the limit to the shapes and objects you can make.

No prior experience is needed for this workshop, just a spirit of creativity!

Guests 10+ need to be registered for their own kit by purchasing a ticket for the class. Guests aged 4-9 should plan on sharing a kit with an adult (one ticket for the pair, only allowed for parent/child). No other guests will be allowed.

About the Artist: A Branch & Cord was founded by local fiber artist, Vanessa Deets in 2020. Based out of Wilsonville, OR, Vanessa lives with her husband, kids, and 2 kitties. Vanessa is inspired by color and loves to create in all the shades. She's grown a team of hardworking mamas to handmake colorful macrame jewelry, accessories, kits and home decor. They participate regularly at local pop-up events and instruct rainbow workshops monthly.

Length of Class: 2 hours

Minimum Age: Guests 10+ need to be registered for their own kit by purchasing a ticket for the class. Guests aged 4-9 should plan on sharing a kit with an adult (one ticket for the pair, only allowed for parent/child).

*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.

*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.

*Food and Drink are available to purchase from the food truck(s) on-site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.

*Please check-in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.
