Learn how to paint watercolors in a step-by-step class while painting a Boot Bouquet!

No drawing or painting experience is needed for this class. A line drawing of the subject will be already on the watercolor paper and students only need to paint with watercolors. Preregistration is required so that all the materials are ready for you when you arrive for class!

Elizabeth will demonstrate different watercolor painting techniques and she will be available for one on one help as time allows.

All materials to create a watercolor painting will be supplied, but if you have your own paint brushes, you’re welcome to bring them! Refrain from wearing anything light colored, just in case any paint splatters.

Supplied materials include professional grade Arches Cold Press watercolor paper and professional grade M. Graham Watercolor paints.

About the Artist: Elizabeth Zimmerman is a watercolor artist who loves to share the personality of watercolors in her classes. She believes that drawing and painting are two different skills, so she takes out the drawing portion in her classes, so that you can fully focus on mixing colors and learning different watercolor techniques. Elizabeth not only teaches classes, but has a YouTube channel (here's one filmed at SID: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RaAZSgjm-Ek), creates watercolor painting commissions, and enters painting competitions.

All the classes have the outline already on the paper for you, so no drawing experience is needed. In class you will learn basic color theory, mixing your own colors, and watercolor painting techniques, while using professional grade watercolor paints and paper.

Each participant will leave with their finished watercolor piece of art.

All supplies are included in the class fee of $50.00

Length of Class: 2 hours

*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.

*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.

*Food and Drink are available to purchase from the food truck(s) on-site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.

*Please check-in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.
