About this Event

Needle Felting Class - Festive Pumpkins

It's never too early to get ready for the fall season! Let's make some adorable pumpkins together. They're so much fun to create, and once you've made one, you won't want to stop! After this class, you'll definitely be able to go home and create your own needle-felted pumpkin patch. It only takes a few needle-felting supplies! Students are always surprised at how unique and different everyone's pieces turn out—no two pumpkins will be alike. All supplies are provided in the class kit. All levels are welcome.

Please note: Students will have the opportunity to create up to two pumpkins, time permitting. Orange wool colors within the kits will vary and may not precisely match the class photo.

What you will learn:
*General overview of needle felting tools and wools
*Core wool building and shaping
*Layering and blending wool
*Segmenting and line work
*Attaching pieces to your base
*Embellishments

To ensure the best environment for your wool creations, please refrain from bringing open food into the class. Closed-container drinks are welcome!

We also ask that you avoid applying lotion to your hands immediately before class.

With a special needle and a vibrant palette of colored wool, Joy sculpts unique and whimsical creations that have found homes across the United States. Instantly drawn to the tactile and expressive nature of needle felting, Joy is passionate about sharing this relaxing and rewarding craft. For the past several years, she has been teaching individuals and groups, making needle felting accessible to everyone.
