History

Clue: On Stage is a theatrical adaptation of the iconic 1985 cult film Clue, which itself was inspired by the classic M**der mystery board game by Hasbro. The stage play was first developed in the mid-2010s by playwrights Sandy Rustin (adaptation), with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price, and original music by Michael Holland. It debuted in 2017 and quickly became a hit in regional and community theaters across the U.S. Thanks to its fast-paced humor, quirky characters, and multiple surprise endings, Clue: On Stage has become a favorite for audiences and performers alike.
