Candle Making Workshop
Let's get crafty! Join Jordan of Vine + Vessel for a candle-making workshop! Grab a buddy (ages 14+) and join Jordan while she guides you through making your very own candle! When you arrive, she will have all of the tools and supplies necessary and ready for you. You’ll select your desired scent from limited editions available during the class and follow simple step-by-step instructions. At the end of the hour and a half to two-hour class, you’ll have created a 9oz candle using toxin-free fragrance oils, natural soy wax, with the accessory of a natural wood wick! Your candle should be dry enough to take home by the end of the class time. While you wait for your candle to solidify, make a stop at the food carts, walk through the stunning dahlia fields, and shop the beautiful Swan Island Dahlias gift shop! This is a very fun, creative, and memorable experience you won’t want to miss out on!
About the Artist/Instructor: Jordan is the owner and creator of Vine + Vessel! She was born and raised in Canby, Oregon, where she still resides today along with her middle school sweetheart (who I have the honor of calling husband for the last 9 years). They have two beautiful little girls. While my priority is loving them deeply, I have also been running my small candle business over the last 4 years. During these years, I’ve connected with so many different wonderful people who I get to call customers!
Each Participant will leave with their own 9oz natural soy wax candle. Vessels may vary.
All supplies are included in the class fee of $49.00
Length of Class: 2 hours
Minimum Age: 14 years old
*No guests are allowed. Each person in the class will need to purchase a ticket for the class.
*The class is held indoors in a barn with a sawdust/dirt floor. Please dress accordingly.
*Food and Drink are available to purchase from the food truck(s) on-site. Please arrive plenty early to allow time to purchase your snacks as the class instructor will not be able to wait to start the class if you are late.
*Please check-in near the Cut Flower Stand 10-15 minutes prior to your class time.
