Pond Detectives : Natures Hidden Clues For ages 8-14

Succession is a term used to describe the ever changing environment and the gradual process by which one habitat is replaced by another. While undectable to the human eye , habitats are actually in a constant state of change.

Join us at the CCRC July 22, 2025 and we will discuss all the changes and "The Mystery of Ponds" located on the grounds how they came about and how they have changed over the years. As time permits, we will do some fishing from the ponds.

There is a $5.00 registration fee. Class size is limited. This may be paid online through eventbrite or you may pay with cash or check. Cash and check payments need to be received within five days of your registration. If you are paying by check please make it payable to NCSU, and mail it to NCCE 120 Community Way Barco NC 27917.
