Pickling for Premies pickleball tournament is coming up and we hope you will join us for a day full of fun, and rally for a good cause!

About this Event

Join us for a day of fun and purpose at the 1st Annual Pickling for Premies Pickleball Tournament! This special event supports families with newborns in the NICU by raising funds to provide “parent packs”—thoughtfully curated comfort items—and to establish a fully stocked Parent Comfort Closet at Nationwide Children’s Special Care Unit at Dublin Methodist Hospital.

Whether you’re playing, donating, or cheering from the sidelines, your support helps lighten the load for NICU families in our community.

Our Story

We never expected to spend time in the NICU after a smooth pregnancy with our first child, Evelyn—until she surprised us by arriving six weeks early. Those 21 days were some of the longest of our lives, but in many ways, we were the lucky ones. We lived nearby, had family and friends close, and were able to rest and recharge between visits.

After joining a support group and hearing stories from other NICU parents—some driving hours daily, others separated from their babies by long distances, juggling time with children at home, or going through it alone—we felt called to give back.

Our goal is to ensure that every NICU parent feels supported and cared for, just as we did. We want to help ease the emotional and logistical burdens of this difficult journey so parents can focus on what matters most: their baby.

Info: First rounds will begin promptly after welcome and opening words. After the first round of matches, three courts will become the front draw and three the back draw and play will continue from there.
