"Real Talk" Teen Boy's Navigating Emotions & Life Challenges (July 10 & 17)
About this Event
Is Your Teen Struggling to Manage Their Emotions?
Does your teen son get frustrated easily or react intensely to stress? Does he struggle to communicate, shut down, or lash out when overwhelmed?
"Real Talk" is an online supportive skills-based group for teen boys (13-17) to help them:
❤️ Build emotional resilience & confidence
🛠️ Learn tools to handle stress & frustration
💬 Communicate effectively & set boundaries
🧠 Think before reacting & make better choices
With real-world practice and guidance, teens learn practical coping strategies to navigate tough emotions and relationships—so they can thrive at home, school, and beyond!
What Makes "Real Talk" Different?
Our groups are rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach that helps teens develop essential life skills for emotional regulation, communication, and resilience.
- ⏳ Short & Effective – Over the summer we are piloting 2 weekly sessions and each session is just 55 minutes, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule.
- 👥 Small Group Setting – We keep groups intimate (5-10 teens max) to ensure personalized support and engagement.
- 🎓 Led by Experts – Sessions are facilitated by a caring professional with years of experience working with yourh.
Your teen won’t just learn about coping skills—they’ll practice them in a supportive, real-world environment to build confidence and success.
