The Suffolk Learning Disability Strategy: My Voice Focus Group
About this Event
Your Ordinary Life: how ACS can support you
Are you interested in working together in new and different ways to support people with a learning disability and autistic people?
Join this group for self-advocates, families and carers, providers, key organisations and board members.
The My Voice Focus Group is co-chaired by:
Nic Roper, Assistant Director- Mental Health, Learning Disabilities & Autism and Sensing Change Adult and Community Services Suffolk County Council
Mark Conquer, Expert with Experience Project Worker, Ace Anglia
The My Voice Focus Group is about working in co-production. Guest speakers from health and social care come to talk about topics highlighted by the group. It is important that people with a learning disability come to the My Voice Focus Group to talk about what changes they want to see happen across Suffolk.
We’ll share updates on what’s happening in Suffolk’s adult social care. Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts on what matters and what can be improved. Join us to ensure all voices are heard.
