Welcome to the Autism Back to School Resource Fair! Join Autism Caregivers Around the Bend and Autism Dads Social Club at the Multipurpose Room in the Missouri City Recreation and Tennis Center for a morning filled with valuable resources and information for families rearing autistic loved ones.
Connect with local organizations, therapists, educators, and specialists who can help support you and your loved ones as you navigate the school year. We will have vendors, a panel, and fun activities to engage kids on the spectrum and their siblings. Light food and refreshments will be provided.

Info: Joyful Journey ABA and Autism Therapy Services will provide a sensory experience for autistic kids. B-Fit Universal and Spectrum One Sports will facilitate fun Sports Enrichment and Physical Education for kids. Back to School items will be given to autistic kids. Multiple vendors will be present for parents to engage and meet. Light food and refreshments will be available for all guests.
Info: Members of our Autism and Education Panel will respond to questions from a moderator. Our panelists include: Pat Pat Freeze, National ARD/IEP Advocates. As an advocate, Pat helps parents navigate the Special Education process. She is a member of the Council of Parents, Advocates and Attorneys (COPAA) through which she has received extensive training.
DeAndrae Hinton, Author and HISD Special Education Teacher. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas.
Tenika Combs is the founder and CEO of Got Advocacy, LLC. She is an advocate, strategic planning, and transition specialist.
