Entre Dos Mundos (Between Two Worlds) explores the delicate intersection of life and death. It highlights the profound connection between the spiritual and physical realms, celebrating the lives of those who have passed away. As Día de los Muertos approaches, this is a crucial time when the spirits of our loved ones travel from the spirit world to the living world to reunite with friends and family. This exhibition aims to showcase a dynamic blend of how artists interpret this theme while honoring their own unique traditions.

This year the theme and title is Entre dos Mundos / Between Two Worlds. We are asking Latine artists far and wide to submit their best work which illustrates this theme in their own artistic interpretation!
-We are accepting 2D, 3D, digital and performance artworks. 
-You may submit up to 5 artworks.
-Torrents takes no percentage. 100% of sales go through and to the artist.
-We are accepting artists nationwide! Shipped artwork must arrive by September 26th.
-This exhibit overlaps and is also a part of our traditional Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration (on November 1st) which is organized and thrown by our local Latine community! The exhibit is a wonderful piece to our overall event, and a beautiful addition which local art lovers look forward to.

Timeline :
-Submission deadline: August 30th, midnight.
-Acceptance results announced: September 2nd
-Artwork delivery deadline & installation: September 26th, 9:30-11am.
-Exhibit opening: October 2nd, 5-8pm.
-Día de los Muertos Celabratíon: November 1st, 3-10pm.
-Exhibit show dates: October 2nd - November 2nd, 2026. 

Entre Dos Mundos explora la delicada intersección entre la vida y la muerte. Destaca la profunda conexión entre el reino espiritual y el físico, celebrando las vidas de aquellos que han fallecido. Cuando se acercan los Días de los Muertos, este es un tiempo crucial en que los espíritus de nuestros seres queridos viajan del mundo más allá al mundo de los vivos para reunirse con amigos y familiares. Esta exposición tiene como objetivo mostrar una mezcla dinámica de cómo los artistas interpretan este tema, mientras honran sus propias tradiciones.

A continuación se ofrece información clave antes de comenzar:
-Este año el tema y título es Entre dos Mundos / Between Two Worlds. Pedimos a los artistas latinos de todo el mundo que presenten sus mejores obras que ilustren este tema con su propia interpretación artística.
-Se aceptan obras en 2D, 3D, digitales y performances.
-Puedes presentar hasta 5 obras.
-Torrents no se lleva ningún porcentaje. El 100% de las ventas van a través y para el artista.
-Aceptamos artistas de todo el país. Las obras enviadas deben llegar antes del 26 de septiembre.
-Esta exposición también forma parte de nuestra tradicional celebración anual del Día de los Muertos (el 1 de noviembre), organizada por nuestra comunidad latina local. La exposición es una pieza maravillosa para nuestro evento en general, y una hermosa adición que los amantes del arte local esperan con interés.

Línea de tiempo:
-Fecha límite de envío: 30 de agosto a medianoche.
-Resultados de aceptación anunciados: 2 de septiembre
-Fecha límite de entrega e instalación de obras de arte: 26 de septiembre, de 9:30 a 11 a.m.
-Inauguración de la exposición: 2 de octubre, de 17 a 20 h.
-Celebración del Día de los Muertos: 1 de noviembre, de 3 a 10 p.m.
