- **Event Description**: Singers and music lovers! Join us at the next West Vocal Jam session featuring Mississauga’s Cheslea Johnson of the Reimagined Roots Collective on Wednesday, September 9 at the Crooked Cue in Port Credit. Join us as we celebrate Mississauga Music Week.  All are welcome to sing at this relaxed jam. This will be a special show featuring Nick Mustapha on keys with Ross MacIntyre on bass. 

All are welcome to this event created to support vocalists in an encouraging environment. 

This event will also feature a performance from young artist Meep Moop. 

Due to demand, singers are asked to email hcb@rogers.com to pre-register to have a guaranteed performance spot. ALL ATTENDEES are welcome to pay-what-you-can in lieu of a cover charge. Suggested donation of $10-$20. 

ATTN: Singers - Singers are welcome to perform 1 song - Host and event producer Heather Christine will introduce our vocalists. 
Singers - bring 2 copies of your lead sheets for the band. Please note - no sheet music or multiple pages. 

This session we are also pleased to offer registered vocalists a complimentary, optional rehearsal on an evening prior to the event with our pianist. This will be a brief rehearsal for each registered vocalist to have 10 minutes to run through their chart. Please contact Heather for more details hcb@rogers.com. Spots are limited. 

COVID protocols: we will change our microphone coverings between each singer and sanitize. Location: - We are a 5 minute walk from the Port Credit GO Train Station and there is free parking available. - We are a 20 minute drive from downtown Toronto.
