Please encourage your middle school students to join the challenge to develop their design, construction, creative skills, teamwork, and public presentation/speaking. This event is our opportunity as engineers to get students interested in the profession.This challenge is open to students currently enrolled in grades 6, 7, and 8 at a school located in Mississauga and neighboring areas. Building materials and instructions will be provided after the registration is closed.The top three teams from each grade will receive awards.Tentative Schedule:Please notice that this event includes two sessions (Information/Tutorial Session and Challenge Session):Information/Tutorial Session: On October 15, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM: Registered students need to come to Tomken Road Middle school (3200 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J9) to join a bridge building tutorial/information session and pick up their bridge building kits. We will have some experts there to explain structural engineering concepts and bridge building basics.Challenge Session: On Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 8:30 am to about 3:00 pm (Please note that each student may need to remain at the event for about 2 to 3 hours during this time frame, the tentative schedule is outlined below.
