ARMY COMPOSITION

This Tournament will be using the Following Format:

- 2200 Points
- We will use both Grand Melee and Combined Arms army composition restrictions from the Matched Play Guide.
- Any Grand Army, Army of Infamy, or Renegade Army list may be used.
- Mercenaries are cool.
- No Allies.
- Square Based FAQ
- All Updated GW FAQ rules

In addition to the above restrictions, in the interest of creating a more enjoyable and interactive experience, the following changes to the rules will be in effect:

- Characters and Individual Unit Cap: Armies may spend a maximum of 1000 points on Characters and up to 500 points on any single Character or unit.

ARMY MODIFICATIONS
- Bretonnia: the Green Knight is not allowed to declare a charge in the same turn he enters the battlefield.
- Undead (Tomb Kings and Vampire Counts): When using the Arise! Or Invocation of Nehek ability, whenever a character’s Level of Wizardry is used, use a value equal to half the character's Level of Wizardry, rounding fractions up.

ARMY LISTS

- Must include all details of your army: all units points, upgrades, magic items, and the total cost per unit.
- The list must also identify your army's General and which lore(s) of magic any wizards will use.
- Also include the minimum and (if using Ambushers or Scouts) the maximum amount of drops for your list.
- Must include 4 Secret Objectives in you list.

SECRET OBJECTIVES

- Select one Secret Objective per game. Once used, the Secret Objective cannot be selected again for the remainder of the event.

RULES

- All official rules released on or before the list submission deadline can be used in the event.

- Any official updates to Errata or FAQs after the list submission deadline will be used at our discretion and will be communicated.

- Please consult the Square Based FAQ for all advanced rulings in effect for this event.

PAINTING AND MODELLING

- Armies may be comprised of models from any company or source as long as they match the scale and theme of the WORLD OF LEGEND and are easily identifiable.
- Fully painted is not a requirement. These are fun tournaments and I want everyone to have the chance to participate.
- Models must be on the base size listed on their unit entry OR units may be arranged on movement trays with the correct spacing and frontage represented by the tray.

PRIZES

1) Best General - The player who scores the most Victory Points
2) Coolest Army - The player with the most Coolest Army votes
3) Best Sportsman - The player with the most Favorite Opponent votes
4) Wooden Spoon - The player who scores the least amount of Victory Points

SECONDARY MISSION CLARIFICATIONS

- Controlling Objectives: A unit that is eligible may only contest or contribute to holding a single objective of the following sorts: Special Features, Baggage Trains, and/or Strategic Locations.

TERRAIN

- This event will be using Player Placed Terrain
- Each player rolls off. Winner selects one piece of terrain and places it anywhere on the battlefield 12" from the centre and 12" away from any other piece of terrain.
- Players alternate placing each piece of terrain.
- The only exception to this rule is for a Special Feature.
- Each table will have 6 pieces of terrain provided plus 1 special feature if required

SCORING

- Each game has a total of 20 Battle Points that can be scored.

- At the end of each game, you and your opponent compare the difference in Victory Points (VP) you have earned during the match. Your Battle Points (BP) score is based on the differential.

- VP are scored as described in the Matched Play Guide with the following change to “Dead or Fled”:
Replace the third bullet point with: “Each enemy unit that has been reduced to 25% of its starting unit strength or less at the end of the battle, or (if it is unit type Chariot, War Machine, or Monster and has been reduced to 25% or less of its starting wounds) is worth a number of Victory Points equal to 50% of its points cost (rounding fractions up)."

- VP scored from Secondary Missions are tracked separately. The player that scores more VP from Secondary Missions receives +3 BP, while the loser receives -3 BP. In the event of a tie, no points are added or subtracted.

- VP scored from Secret Objectives are tracked separately. The player that completes their Secret Objective receives +1 BP. No BP points are awarded if both players complete their Secret Objective.
